Recovery Coaching

Recovery Coaches

A Recovery Coach is an individual with a lived experience who helps remove personal and environmental obstacles to recovery, links the newly recovering person to the recovery community, and serves as a guide and mentor in the management of personal and family recovery.


A Recovery Coach assists in understanding and accessing Substance Use Disorder services and supports.


A Recovery Coach models competency in recovery and on-going coping skills- utilizing their personal recovery story to mentor, encourage and inspire hope in the Recoveree.

We assist in identifying and removing barriers that make recovery challenging.

How we help:

  • Assist in identifying the customers personal pathway to Substance Use Recovery.
  • Assist in the engagement and coordination of Substance Use Disorder services, mental health services and community resources to best meet the customers goals as developed in their plan of service.
  • Provide flexible, creative services driven by the treatment planning process, incorporating community inclusion and natural supports.
  • Provide linkage to the recovery community.
  • Assist the customer in transitional to and between providers and community services related to substance use recovery.
  • Assist with fulfilling basic needs such as food, clothing, arranging for shelter, bathing, etc. as needed.
  • Facilitate customer in acquiring necessary skills and practicing all activities of daily life.
